On a mission to make my hair less see-through. Step 1: iron supplements. Let’s see how it goes

I'm not familiar with that one, but i have found the sulphur 8 shampoo to be very clarifying when I have build up or my scalp is just super irritatied

Hello hello, good morning! I've recently moved to Bicester, so while I am unfortunately not a Buckingham-based braided anymore, I will pop down here and there for you!
My books are open for the rest of the year and I'm more available if you are happy to come down to Bicester! 🫶🏾

My scalp has been really itchy lately. Even after washing and I tried Nizoral on my last wash day. For the first time in a while, my scalp wasn’t itchy. I would recommend.
You can get it from a pharmacy.

The cause of the itchy scalp and dandruff is from a fungus that naturally exists in our hair but can overgrow by feeding on excess sebum.

In the sun, vs when the sun is behind you😭 I need to retain length better so my ends stop thinning and breaking. I wanna get back to formulating my length-retention butter, but in the meantime, has anyone tried Batana oil? It’s on my list.

You can stretch it out on low heat with a hair dryer. I’d suggest heat less methods like banding, but that would give the stretched look a weird shape

Flaxseed gel is TOO GOOD. I’ve never had a better slick than with flaxseeds. Defo one of the best additions to a natural girlie or guy’s arsenal 👌

"Does Buckingham have any African beauty supply shops/markets?” No

“Where can I go to find some?” MK or London but that’s a Trek

A simple solution: order from Florienta by DM-ing right here on the newly-created Florienta App (here you can also find a hair stylist to do your newly purchased hair).
Or alternatively, you can DM on Instagram

Looks like this one warranted a second post.

I’m opening up the table to a more global conversation. Wherever you’re from, as an Afro-descended person, what are your hair discrimination stories?
